Introduction:

In this project emphasis has given to protect our dress, crops or playground from rain by using modern engineering and technology. This system is simple, effective, economic and reliable.

Materials required:

1. Resistor
2. Capacitor
3. Transistor
4. Microcontroller
5. Relay
6. Diode
7. L.E.D
8. Motor
9. Adaptor
10. Pulley
11. Conducting wire

Working:

By using an adaptor we get 5 volt dc. When a rain drop touches the sensor, it sends an analog signal to microcontroller. Then the microcontroller rotates the motor for a specific time through a relay. This makes the thread attached to the pulley to pull the protecting cover. So, the dress, crop, ground do not get wet and kept dry under the shading .To use this system again, we have to reset both the thread attached to the pulley.

Advantage:

1. This protects the dress materials from rain without making those wet.
2. This also reduces human effort.
3. This system is simple, effective, economic and reliable.
