Introduction:

By taking the help of modern engineering and technology we have designed a road congestion indicating system. It automatically provides a red signal to coming vehicles before entering into a congested road. This aware the traffic to choose another route instead of entering into a jam road.

6. LDR
7. LASER

Working:

It is a laser beam based system. There is a laser system on one side of the road and a LDR on other side. So, there is a laser beam across the road. If laser beam falls on LDR, only green signal is active. If laser beam doesn’t falls on LDR, only red signal is active. When any vehicle crosses the beam, green signal converts into red signal for a fraction of time and comes back again to green. In a traffic jam situation, the beam is obstructed by a vehicle and a constant red signal is achieved. This red signal aware other traffic which want to enter in this congested road. So, they don’t involve in this situation rather they choose another route.

Advantages:

1. It avoids entering of more vehicles in an already congested road.
2. It saves their time.
