Introduction:

By taking the help of modern engineering and technology we have designed a system in which vehicle accident information can be received immediately through a text message. It helps to rescue the patient quickly. Medical help can be provided to the patient as soon as possible without any delay. It increases the survival rate of the patient.

Block diagram:

Components required:

  1. Battery
  2. Charger
  3. Buck converter
  4. Piezo sensor
  5. Op-amp circuit
  6. Timer circuit
  7. Microcontroller
  8. GSM module
  9. GPS module

Working:

Gps module works on 3.3 V dc. Gsm module works on 5 V dc. Vibration is received by piezo sensor and fed to a comparator circuit. Op-amp based comparator circuit triggers the timer circuit. Timer circuit switch the microcontroller on. A text message is sent to the respective mobile phone. When there is a vehicle accident, the vibration is picked up by the vibration sensor. According to the circuit design, a text message is delivered to the family member with the original latitude and longitude coordinate of the accident spot. By putting the coordinate values in Google map we can find out the particular location.

Advantages:

  1. This system is helpful to know about the accident immediately.
  2. This leads to faster rescue.
  3. As the location of the accident spot is identified, health workers and ambulance service can be sent to the spot as soon as possible.
