Introduction
By using modern engineering and technology we are trying to get the underground water for drinking and irrigation purpose. By using speed breakers we are lifting water and storing it in a overhead tank for further use. This process needs no electricity consumption as we are using mechanical pump operated by the force of vehicles running on the road. We are converting the breaking energy of massive vehicles into mechanical energy to drive our water pump. Due to the spring force associated with the piston of pump, speed breaker is able to retain its upward position repeatedly.

Working
The pump uses a cylinder piston arrangement which is used to lift water. Due to the restored spring force attached to piston, it moves vertically upward and creates vacuum inside the cylinder chamber this sucks underground water through suction pipe. The reflux valve restricts flow of water again towards ground when piston moves downward. Thus, water is directed into the laterally situated exit outlet opening. Before starting the pumping operation priming is necessary. Water is sent to overhead tank through delivery pipe for further use.
Advantages
We are taking the underground water by using speed breakers.
We don’t need any electricity for the pump.
